Role Overview & Responsibilities
Being a Care Worker with us here at S&W Independent Living you will finish your shift with a sense of pride and satisfaction. We provide a high standard of care and support to elderly service users in the comforts of their own home so they can remain living as independent as possible. Your duties will include; delivering personal care, administration/promoting of medications, preparing meals, and shopping calls.
We need you to be able to work professionally with our service users, and your colleagues, be honest, reliable, and kind. This is an ideal opportunity to get experience if you’re thinking of studying healthcare/ nursing / medicine/ social work in the future.
We provide a full 12week induction inclusive of obtaining the Care Certificate. On going specialist training provided to assist complex service users. There is an opportunity to complete NVQ Level 2&3.

Salary: £11.00-£13.00 per hour

Full PPE is provided for all staff, and service users are provided with hand wash and gel.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- BUXTON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
