Role Overview & Responsibilities

Railway Sleepers Ltd (www.railwaysleepers.com) is a friendly family size business set in the countryside, near Cotgrave, Nottingham, and established in 1997. We supply an exciting range of new and used railway sleepers and other landscaping materials, throughout the UK for numerous customers, ranging from professional landscapers, garden centres, and councils, to building companies, private gardeners, and small DIY projects. People either order online for delivery throughout Britain or collect directly from us. We enjoy sharing the excitement and originality of people's projects whether they are large or small, and seeing these come to fruition

We are looking for a very local person to join our small office team. From answering phone enquiries, discussing products, processing orders, organising deliveries, and managing accounts, you will be involved in every stage of the process, from start to finish. You will need experience of communicating with customers, whether by phone or e-mail, and good computing skills. Sales experience and knowledge of Sage 50 accounts software would be an advantage.

Part-time hours: Approx 22.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday (9.00 - 1.30)
