Fibre Engineer / Senior Fibre Engineer

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Privilege Recruitment are excited to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Fibre Engineer in South East England!

Experienced Fibre Engineer / Senior Fibre Engineer required based in South-East. Works predominately based in the South. Client requirements will include OOH works and overnight stays.

Requirements

• Splicing experience on new and existing networks (details of network operators worked on to be provided)
• Managing network outages (at risk and disconnections) and liaising with clients operating centres.
• Installation of fibre panels / wall boxes etc
• On site reporting of issues with existing joints

Testing Requirements

• Experience using Exfo OTDR and ILM (essential)
• Analysing test results and formatting using FAST Reporter Software (preferable)

Salary: £33,000.00-£65,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• South East: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Fibre Splicing: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
• NRSWA (preferred)
