About the Company:

Construction Testing Services provides materials testing, inspection, and engineering services for major construction projects throughout California and Nevada.​ The CTS team provides owners with thorough project management—our engineers possess not only exceptional technical qualifications, but also administrative skills in estimating, contracting, reporting, invoicing, and budget management. We review and develop specifications for quality control and quality assurance to ensure construction projects are built per the project plans and specifications.​​

About the Position:

CTS is currently looking for a mid to senior-level Civil Engineer to join our growing team in our Bay Area office due to our increase in workload.​

Requirements/Qualifications:

· B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

· Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil Engineering from the

· California Board of Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in at least some of the following tasks

o Materials Testing and Special Inspection

o Geotechnical Engineering Investigations

o Construction Management

o Construction

· Ability to work both independently and in groups

Responsibilities:

· Review project Plans and Specifications

· Review inspectors Daily Field Reports

· Perform and review laboratory and field testing

· Build client relationships

· Oversee and mentor laboratory and field staff

· Oversee quality management systems

· Perform structural investigations

· Develop new testing procedures

· Perform Geotechnical Investigations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
