Role Overview & Responsibilities

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Data Apprentice, where you will combine on the job training with college study and work towards achieving a Level 4 Data Analyst qualification.

Working as part of our Research and Development Team, you will deal with a variety of data from Housing, Communities, Leisure, Venues and Health and Wellbeing. You’ll have the ability to take ideas from topics you have learnt and read to help you deepen your understanding and develop more strategic data projects.

The role will support your learning by providing opportunities for you to use tools and techniques for data visualisation and reporting, including Excel and PowerBI. This will support the team to improve efficiency and encourage strategic decision-making across the service by using data to create innovative solutions.

You will need:

  • A level or above and/or suitable relevant experience
  • Experience working with a range of partners (statutory, voluntary and businesses)
  • Good customer service experience
  • Experience in preparing and writing reports to summarise information and identify key issues
  • The ability to manage tight deadlines
GCSE Grade C in English and Maths or Functional skills L2 Equivalent
