Role Overview & Responsibilities

SECURITY OFFICER

You will be expected to provide effective and timely service to all of our customers whilst delivering the highest level of security and customer service at all times. Due to the nature of the role it is important that successful applicants will be confident in dealing with ever changing demands, be versatile, fully flexible with weekend shifts, physically fit and above all enthusiastic!

Responsibilities and Duties

• Guarding Aircrafts
• Searching Aircrafts
• Searching Passengers
• Prepare the passengers for security document checks
• Document checks of transfer passengers (inter-terminal)
• Comply with all relevant health & safety procedures

Our business operates over 7 day’s a week earliest you would be expected to start is 0600

Qualifications and Skills

• Excellent communication skills – both oral and written
• Good organisational and administrative skills, with an eye for detail
• Positive “Can do” attitude and ability to multi-task
• Excellent grooming standards
• 18 years of age or over
• Indefinite Right to work and live in the UK
• Must have a full UK driving licence
• 5 year full checkable employment/education history with a maximum of 4 references

Copy of Driving Licence

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary: £10.92 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Weekend availability

• Manchester Airport: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
